👴 ‘A man called Ove’ is very peculiar book unlike main stream books. When I began reading initially I did not like at the start,but after a while I started enjoying it. The epilogue has worth reading essence or as we say moral of the story in children’s books’ term.
👴 Ove is an old grumpy and vindictive man being very particular for everything and meticulously following everything. He lost his loved ones at very young age. All the people he loved left him except his wife Sonja who stayed with him till her final days. He has probably turned this practical or ‘bitter neighbor from hell’ for everyone in neighbourhood since his wife’s death.
👴 As the new neighbours come,he is irritated of them being nosy and yet they gravitate. He starts to warm a bit showing kindness. He soon becomes likable for us too. Neighbours unknowingly become blessings in disguise or a light for his life as each day passes.
👴 It is very brilliant heartwarming story. It has warm and funny side too. I found it a beautiful masterpiece. ❤️
