🙃 This book is a collection of small everyday snippets that we all come across on a daily basis. The best part is the humorous take the author finds in all situations she comes across in her life in Kerala and leaves everyone with a good laugh. The anecdotes are part and parcel of Indian Middle class life.
🙃 Its a fast light read and you will definitely read it often whenever you need a mood change. It easily resonates with several of our daily experiences as Indians. A must read that you can devour in one sitting and end up smiling.A non-stop commentary and lampoonery on the banalities of Indian living.
🙃 Khyrunnisa A with her quick-witted observations, scintillating sense of humour and an imaginative use of adjectives and puns, transforms the everyday mundane into a comedy of situations. I have to admit, I have found myself in similar predicaments on a number of occasions, and chuckled my way through this short book. It’s classic self deprecating humour with its regional idiosyncrasies.
🙃 My favorite chapters were the ones which were related to Indian weddings, the drama and the always present parking issues.
