The Indian Reading Duo Book Review 📚🇮🇳

Book – The Switch ( Audio Version )
Author – Beth O’ Leary
Genre – Fiction Romcom
Published –18th August 20
Narrator – Alison Steadman, Daisy Edgar Jones
Listening length – 10 Hours 10 minutes

🎧This was my first experience of audiobook as I’m a diehard reader where I bookmark or highlight or re read whenever and whatever part I want to read. Honestly I was skeptical and initially I took little time to get accustomed to it. But narrators were outstanding as their emotions and grip of character was very authentic and intimate.

🎧Leena Cotton from London is in her twenties who has occupied herself heavily in work after her sister’s death. But after having a panic attack at work, she is forced to have a mandatory sabbatical. She decides to visit her grandmother Eileen in Yorkshire village who is in her seventies.

🎧They decide to SWITCH houses for a good deal in their lives. It indeed brings altogether great change where Leena realizes how she always under estimated the country life and Eileen adjusts quickly with city life and finds solace in her life. Navigating grief and holding together bravely is crux of storyline.

🎧This book is certainly an ode to the relation between granddaughter and grandmother. It has grieving, happy, funny, romantic and substantial sweet elements wrapped to it. October certainly began with sweet and adorable romcom.

❤️ Thank you @netgalley @betholeary for this free audiobook in exchange of my honest opinion. I liked the storyline, cast and audio❤️
