“Truth doesn’t have to be liked, it only has to be spoken. Speak it out. Truth may hurt you, but it will set you free!”

“Nothing is more important than life. Nothing. You realise the simplicity of that point only when you confront death!”

Book- The Secret of Nagas๐Ÿ

Indian Mythological Bestseller
Shiva Triology by Amish Tripathi

๐Ÿ”ฑAmish’s immense research, thoughtful story development indicates his efforts and passion for nurturing the plot and his love for mythology.

๐Ÿ”ฑAgitated by the death of loved one creates ruckus in Shiva’s life. When he and Sati were in Ayodhya,Sati was attacked by Naga! Though attack fails, but Shiva sets his journey for land of Branga in search of Nagas. Sati who delivers a son Kartik stays back in Kashi to prevent lion attack on people with help of Naga woman and her son. Shiva encounters with bandit Parshuram, but while defeating him he gets to know his identity as Vasudev and Vasudev perceives him as Neelkanth and repents his actions serving his left hand to Shiva!

๐Ÿ”ฑVasudev then joins his entourage getting back. Shiva discerns Chandrawanshis were not evil. The Naga woman discloses her identity to Sati as her twin Kali and Sati’s first born child Ganesh! Sati is beyond happy for the events. But on return Shiva recognizes Ganesha being the destroyer and killer of his loved one and separates from Sati leaving her behind and moving to Branga.

๐Ÿ”ฑWill they reconcile? Well, it is interesting and must read!
I personally liked Parvateshwar and Anandmayi’s story,Vasudev Pandit’s role,Ayurvati’s presence as doctor with herbal knowledge and Nandi and Veerbhadra’s parts.

๐Ÿ”ฑThis story unfolds further odyssey of Shiva which is total roller coaster ride revealing many substories, interesting facts and secrets with twists and turns and euphoric moments too. What makes the book good is because it is not long read and events keep us intrigued with simplicity of language and easy narrative style.
